Boing boing!

without comments

What a nice day! Boing Boing (the fifth most popular blog in the world) blogged about my Picturetweeting bathroom scale today, and I’m enjoying a lovely spike in traffic on my little DIY-site. Thank you Mark, much appreciated!

Nice spike

By the way, things you probably didn’t know about Boing Boing co-founder Mark Frauenfelder :)

Frying pan dog!

with one comment

My daughter is so cute! Look what she made! A frying pan dog, in a cage.

Frying pan dog

Kids have such cool imagination! Sarah was helping me with the dishes, and was about to put this small frying pan back in it’s place, but all of a sudden her face lit up and off she went, proclaiming that she was taking the frying pan up to her room. A while later she came to get me, and this is what she had made. A cage for her “dog”. So adorable!

That is the biggest joy of having kids, they are like weird robots you can’t program. You make them, and off they go into the world, turning into little people with unique, funny personalities. The downside is that you have to clean up their mess afterwards of course, but that is a small price to pay. :)

Cable porn

Call me weird, but finding stuff like this in the trash simply makes me overflow with happiness! A Sega Dreamcast! A IBM thinkpad power supply! And more solid core wire than any man could need lest he be employed by NASA and told to hotwire the space shuttle. Jum!

My sexy Second Life character

with 2 comments

I haven’t spent (correction: wasted) much time in Second Life but I did take the time to make the ugliest avatar possible back in 2006.

That’s me sitting on the rock in my underwear. Sexy? Mmmmm.

If I was anything other than human

without comments

I’m nothing without your touch, my love
I’m nothing without your kiss
To spend each night in your arms, my flower
is man’s idea of bliss
To not hear your voice each day
is to die seven times by God’s wrath.
If I was anything other than human
I’d want to be the water in your bath.

- Prince, from the movie Under the cherry moon

And, yes, I used to be a homeless romantic!

Guttedrøm #1: Ha på seg Star Wars Storm Trooper-drakt

with 2 comments

Find a way to support or duplicate this! I used to skate when I was a kid, and loved it. It just brings a gigantic smile to my face seing these Afghan kids playing. Read more about it at Skateistan.org
