Ironic error page on Uservoice.com
Uservoice.com delivers what looks to be a very nice service for handling user feedback on your website, but perhaps they should have used their own product on their error handling page? Got this when trying to create an account: Oh well, I guess I will have to try again later. Or maybe not. Update: Refreshed… Fortsett å lese Ironic error page on Uservoice.com
Playing with SnapCasa screenshots and del.icio.us
Tonights nerdfest will include trying to use the SnapCasa and del.icio.us to generate a lovely page full of thumbnails, one for each url. Ingredients: 1. Timelope takes lifestreaming to a new level!
First off I just want to say that I think this is probably NOT a very good idea, but I downloaded the Timelope extension for firefox today, that basically publishes every single webpage you visit to timelope.com and as an rss. Smart? No, maybe not, but kind of fun! Whyyy! Some people would probably say… Fortsett å lese Timelope takes lifestreaming to a new level!

Processing: Sketch_081001a, and how to embed a sketch in a wordpress post

I’ve been interested in generative computer art for many years, ever since I first saw the work of Marius Watz in the mid nineties and had a stint reading dadaist… Fortsett å lese Processing: Sketch_081001a, and how to embed a sketch in a wordpress post
Web meets world

I’m currently a bit sick and tired of the myriad of new social media websites that pop up all the time, all doing basicly… Fortsett å lese Web meets world
Open source flash-based sound sequenzer
I’ve been thinking alot about making a soundbased installation in Adobe Flash, using sensors and switches, and I’ve gotten around to making a few small eksperiments/prototypes as research, which I’m planning to share on this site later. But I also found this old experiment I wrote in Flash 5 (!) and wanted to share it.… Fortsett å lese Open source flash-based sound sequenzer
Code: Showing a list of youtube videos using gdata and xslt with php
Let’s start with a little demonstration. The section below is made by calling the php-script https://pappmaskin.no/opensource/youtube/youtube.php?s=super&max=9 within an iframe: Why iframe? Just to make it easier to reuse and embed Youtube videos on different sites, and because it makes it easier to try out new ideas without adding messy bits to a larger project. Sort… Fortsett å lese Code: Showing a list of youtube videos using gdata and xslt with php
Happy birthday to GNU!
Just got a heads up that the wonderful people over at GNU used one of my pictures in their Happy Birthday to GNU-video. I am of course a big fan of open source in all shapes and forms, so this is simply an honor and a delight! I said jokingly to my wife that «it… Fortsett å lese Happy birthday to GNU!
